Privacy Policy

FengshuiSnap ("we", "us") is operated by Shanghai Zhicheng Yuanjian Information Technology Co., Ltd. This policy explains what information the FengshuiSnap app processes, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we don't have user accounts, we don't track you, and the only data that leaves your device is the photo you choose to analyze.

1. Information we process

• Photos you choose to analyze. When you take or select a photo for analysis, the image is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our AI vision provider (Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service) solely to generate your report. Azure may retain API content for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring, after which it is deleted. Photos are not used to train AI models, are not used for advertising, and are never linked to your identity.
• Analysis reports and settings. Your reports, photos, energy-point balance and preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate accounts or a server-side copy of your history. Deleting the app deletes this data.
• Compass and orientation (optional). If you use the compass feature, the app reads device sensors (and location, if you grant it) on-device to determine direction. This information is not transmitted to us.
• Purchases. Energy packs and memberships are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.

2. What we do NOT do

• No user accounts, no registration, no passwords.
• No advertising SDKs, no analytics trackers, no cross-app tracking, no sale of data.
• No linking of any collected data to your identity.

3. Data retention

Photos submitted for analysis are processed transiently by the AI provider and retained by it for at most 30 days for abuse monitoring (a standard Azure OpenAI safeguard), then deleted. Everything else lives on your device and is under your control.

4. Third-party services

We use Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service for image analysis (see Azure OpenAI data & privacy) and Apple's StoreKit for in-app purchases. Both act as processors for the purposes described above.

5. Children

FengshuiSnap is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can deny camera, photo library or location permissions at any time in iOS Settings; the related features simply won't be available.
• You can delete all locally stored reports by deleting them in the app or uninstalling the app.
• Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights of access, deletion and objection. Since we hold no identifiable data about you, most requests are satisfied by the local controls above — but you can always contact us.

7. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's release notes.
